This is perhaps the greatest science
fiction novel of the 21st century. It is a must read and recommended for all ages and
genres. It claims to be a
science fiction novel, however, it could also be a political satire or about the
experiences a youth has while groing up.
It was written by a young man of twenty-three years of age about some experiences he had while living in war-torn Croatia. This book is about those experiences transposed on a science fiction background. The author goes into a fantastic amount of depth to show the main characters' emotions and desires. The skill for such a young man is astounding and show be studied for the great efforts put into this novel.
This story is based on actual events of a young man's journey from youth to manhood. The planet of Zemlya is under political turmoil. The planet's four islands have always been governed by peace and war was forbidden. However, the decision of one of the seven seer stone holders has unlocked the secrets to dark and fobidden doctrines. Aleric was the son of a simple zveri herder in Zlatpolye. Due to fantastic circumstances, he finds himself in the middle of an encroaching war. He is led to join a hidden society known as the Maritonic Knights. The Maritonic Knights must save the island of Otok before it is consumed by darkness.

This book needs to be placed on everyone's favorite novels list. Move over Harry Potter, there is a new and exciting book series about to take over.
