The Young man had said its father that he did’nt want to be a priest, its dream was to travel… its father
gave him some currencies of gold and Santiago bought some sheep... was the only way to travel thus, he knew all Spain, travelling with its sheep, certain night has a dream in which he saw the pyramids of Egypt and, a treasure.
The next day has a talk with a king who says him that he has to sell its sheep to pursue its dream, although was an absurd idea sells its flock and begins the trip.
Beginning the trip the shepherd begins to understand the sense of the life. The signs in everything that surrounds him, same signs try to guide it in every occasion. He buys its ticket to Tanger, and, without course finds a store of glassware spending two years there by circumstances of the life (decret of God? Destiny?)
Santiago knows an Englishman who reports him that the following day splits a caravan, which crosses the Desert. The shepherd takes again the road toward its dream.
An afternoon they arrive at an Oasis, the shepherd finds the love of his life Fátima. And he tell’s her the dream, Fátima encourages him to continue his road and she will be waiting for him. The youth has a vision in which sees war in the Oasis in spite of being neuter zone and decides to tells to the authorities, whom don’t believe it but, the wise of them says him that if that’s certain, by each ten enemies fallen, he would givehim a currency of gold, but if did’nt happen he would die. The following day had sufficient currencies of gold in its poket and left with the “alchemist of the desert” takes again the way to the pyramids, in its road they find an enemy camp, sentenced to death the Alchemist says to the chief, that the shepherd is capable of transform in air… The young shepherd feels desperate and he begins its prayer with the heart, suddenly feels love and feels the soul of the World that, is also the soul of God and that is the same soul of the shepherd, then…appears in a different place. It’s a book to believe, redefine, to meditate, and to find the own treasure.
