Festivals are a reason to enjoy. It is the time to don traditional authentic wear without eyebrows being raised. Onecan gorge
on great food without worrying about calories ( everybody else is eating too ) and enjoy oneself immensely. During festivals everybody , irrespective of income groups , can enjoy themselves.
Different people enjoy festival differently. Bursting crackers, throwing colours, all these make the festivals more enjoyable and colourful. There is no difference between a 10-years old and 50-years old on that day. It is the time when priorities are different , work becomes secondly and festivals get prime priority.
Festivals are the time of vivid colours and myraid dreams. Festivals represent sanguine aspects of human nature. Festivals represent hopes that the year ahead will be prosperous. One hopes that the deity will bring one joy.
One cannot help saying a silent player for happiness and love. Giving gifts during festivals is a way of showing love for each other. It does not really matter whether the gift is good or not, useful or not, what is important is that gifts are given with love Festival link the hearts of the people.
Love , Laughter and frolic make festivals all the more special.
