Through the figure of a thirty-something columnist, Carrie Bradshaw, the typical New York woman, neurotic and independent, the author writes about daily situations, not only about sex (seen of course from the female point of view) but also about love, friendship and relations in a big city. But the book goes beyond all of that to show us the reality for women living in the twenty first century, for the women who are liberating themselves, although there are many things that never change. This time, ladies and gentlemen, the battlefield for the war of the sexes will be the bedroom.
