The diary of a young girl. Anne Frank

Book Review   by:Skygarden     Original Authors: Anne Frank; edited by Otto Frank and Mirjam Pressler
ª

It was written by Anne Frank about the lives of eight persons in the hiding from 12 June 1942 to 1 August 1944 before she was caught and sent to the concentration camp by German during Second World War.

The diary disclosed conflict broke out between them, selfishness of oneself when it came to choose between friendship and surviving, her thoughts about grown-ups and outside world, her lonely heart as a teenager, bad remarks about her, the unhappy relationship between her and her mother and her ambitious dream that never came true.

How hard they struggled and resisted the stressful lives each day, at last even came the moment of joy and hope that the war would be over soon, until one morning something unexpected happened that changed the rest of their lives forever.
