Memoirs of a Geisha

Book Review   by:redheadaud     Original Author: Arthur Golden
ª

Memoirs of a Geisha is a must read novel, this real life story goes into the life of not only a Japanese born Geisha but also into a womens life. Regardless of race, every women should read this book, because it transends to every generation, race, and ages of all women. This story was moving to me, it awakens the senses of what women really go through, from being innocent little girls, being forced into a life that did not have to take place. After reading this Arthur Golden novel, reality will come to mind to what''s going on today, in the United States, Asia, East Asia, and Parts of Europe, were young girls are being driven from their home to live a life that is unfair. There''s pain and truimp in this novel, and that''s why i love this novel.
