New technology, scientific advances, and eradicated illnesses are only a few of the characteristics of this hope filled
century.
Yet how many people stop their accelerated rhythm to
observe for a few moments: where is this all taking us? Misery, hunger, promiscuous sex, and lack of values, nuclear weapons, and lack of charity and humanitarian aid for the poorest nations, where thousands of people die each year from hunger. Hearts can not be so cold toward this worldwide injustice. Think for an instant how wonderful it would be if each person made an oration (according to their religion) and united hands in order to ask this Supreme Being, that humanity observe the wonders it has around (trees, mountains, birds, wild animals, forests, lakes, rivers, seas) and brothers to share this beautiful world with. Only with humility and hope, the planet and all living things will be able to leave behind so many disturbances that are destroying inner peace of being human. Live and let live.
