Good health is essential to enable us to concentrate on everyday life: work, family, hobbies etc. If we do not want to suffer from disease, we have to remember to carry on healthy lifestyle. We should bear in mind that sensible diet, physical activities, regular check-ups, and being free from addictions are the way to stay in right condition.
One of the most important factors having an influence of our wellness is diet. A nutritious diet helps prevent heart disease, circulatory disorders, strokes, diabetes, high blood pressure, obesity, and certain types of cancer. Proper diet ought to be balanced and varied. It should consist of whole food like lean meat, fish, fresh fruit, and vegetables. If possible, we should eat regularly five times a day. It is advisable to avoid fat-building sweets, fast foods, alcohol, and coffee.
A well-balanced diet must be combined with physical exercise like jogging, cycling, swimming, or even walking. Regular trainings enable people to become fit strong and full of energy. Physical activities are especially important in contemporary world, where life is easier. Technological progress has made us lazy.
Driving to work, sitting in front of computer or television, using the lift cause that we may feel unfit. One should remember that exercising at least 80 minutes a day 3 times a week could overcome this problem.
At the same time, we should not forget about our psychological health. Having enough sleep, being rest, living without too much pressure and worries, maintaining friendly relations with people is a key to keep healthy. If we are too busy or overworked, we should slow down and find time for entertainment.
Additions are also hazardous to health. Drinking alcohol, smoking cigarettes, taking drugs or even drinking coffee ruin our wellbeing. Alcohol damages the brain, liver, heart, and nervous system. Cigarettes cause serious disease as lung cancer, heart disease, or bronchial troubles. The best we can do is to avoid condiments.
