Films and TV programs are common for everybody who has the
television. Nobody should prevent
teenagers from watching their favourite channels; furthermore, society should approve the way of spending the time in front of electronic screens. There are many arguments acknowledge positive influence of this global sources.
Firstly, information sending to each viewer gives important knowledge about main events all over the world. Citizens receive the news from different categories like enemy, politics, or sport. We can even get know what is the weather forecast for tomorrow. Using mass media in such a way would definitively develop young intellectual horizons.
Secondly, movies and other commercial creativity give an opportunity to relax.
Nowadays teenagers have numerous problems at school or in making friendship; therefore, imaginary reality may be the best way to rest from everything. Unreal although based on facts stories show young that they are not alone with their dilemmas.
The last argument against the statement that films and TV degenerate children’s minds are statistics. Parental
generation lived in the times when electronics and cinematography was becoming more and more popular. Spreading technology cased changes in human’s characters and made us more resistant to stress. Cutting a long story short, the generation of young people will gain special abilities because of this TV revolution.
As far as I am concerned, nowadays teenagers need television as they need other technological products to survive.
