A perfect plan that did not work.
It was a sunny, spring morning. My parents were planning a perfect
holidays in Greece.
They tried to be perfectionists and thought about each detail. However, their plans had an unexpected twist.
My father is a great organizer. He usually feels the responsibility for all family. He bought tickets, checked a travel agency, and reserved places in the business class. Everything seemed perfectly. My
parents did not expect that they could have uncomfortable problems. The first problematic accident was shocking for them. They were waiting for a passport control by four hours. In addition, their baggage was lost. My parents spent many of a time with empty luggage trolley. They did not foresee problems on the airport. When they were waiting in the left – luggage office, the rest of the group come to the hotel, which was not comfortable enough for holidays. Everybody had to change an accommodation. Moreover, my parents spent three days in the hotel, because they could not find any suite. There was one good side of this situation; they met many of co-operative people, who lent them some clothes.
That holiday was not the best in their life. In spite of few problematic accidents, they came back satisfied and pleased. Now, they know that the best, scrupulous plan can let down.
