HP. This signifies Harry Potter to those who read the
world-famous best-selling
book by J.K. Rowling. To say that her work is a success would be an understatement. Her novel took the world, both the literary and film-makers'', by storm. The celebrities of the Harry Potter movie
series are now known
worldwide just because they portrayed characters that are based on a fiction book. Who would ever guess that Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, Rupert Grin, Oliver and James Phelp and many others were just ordinary teenagers before they auditioned for the magical roles which were to become later on, their stepping stone to fame and fortune? Indeed, the book has changed their lives as much as it had changed millions of readers worldwide. Now, we must remember that the main reason why the author Rowling created the series was to arouse our interest in
reading. This is because children all around the world are now so
engaged in interactive media that they have forgotten the passion of reading, the joy of turning the pages eagerly waiting for the time we get to the climax of the story, almost forgetting to pause and eat in our haste to finish the book as fast as we can. This is now waning fast and it seems that J.K. Rowling''s aim has been achieved just by judging the number of people engaged in reading the books. Now, her last book, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows will be in our favorite bookstands in a matter of days. Will this be the end for our perceiving pursuit?
