Superstitions.
Superstitions are the belief about subsist connection between circumstance and causation. It is very
hard to get wind of their derivation; however, there is much misconception, which people believe to this day.
Most of prejudices connect to the idea of evil spirits, witches and the devil, and mean “bad luck”. People are afraid of some happening, because of that superstition can be right. Nations are apprehensive from either black cat crossing the street or walking under the ladder. Even though someone is not prejudiced, he prefers to be careful and do not venture.
There are also misconceptions, which people provoke, because they bring “good luck”. They believe, for example, for wonderful activity cushions during steep. From the youngest age, children put their teeth under them with credence, that the fairy will bring them some money. When we are getting older, we change our teeth to books. We trust that at the morning we will know everything from them.
As far as I am concerned, some prejudices are funny. I am not superstitious, but when I see a chimney sweep, I involuntary touch my button. As I see it, misconceptions are the part of out tradition, and we should not try to delete them from our life.
