Violence in schools – schools under special
supervision.
Violence in schools has become a common problem. Apparently,
normal education places – primary or even secondary schools are not proper institutions for young hooligans. The idea of schools under special
supervision has both light and dark sides.
The first argument for this conception is that the atmosphere among polite scholars would be tranquil. This alteration would highly reduce violence; therefore, everyone could feel safe.
Secondly, it would definitively increase the level of knowledge. A student would learn more because teachers would not pay so much attention to rude persons.
The last argument showing positive sides is the possibility of
rehabilitation. Long staying in schools under special supervision would give chance to lead moral life in future.
On the other hand, isolating aggressive pupils in one building may cause many consequences. They would have no contacts with society; furthermore, they may have some problems in their life.
The other negative result of this conception may be unsuccessful rehabilitation. Dangerous students might have bad influence on one another. When they would come back to the freedom, none can guarantee that they regret their faults.
The last argument against are financial costs connected with this idea. Everybody would have to pay for the upkeep of these institutions.
As far as I am concerned, scholars who behave as hooligans should face the music for their illegal acts. Schools under special supervision give them opportunity to change. If their behaviour did not change, they should be sending to prison. This is the prescription for peaceful existence.
