The video of the Chronicles of Narnia had everyone gasping out for it! I never got to watch the movie. Why? My mom doesn''t like stories that have "creatures" in them. According to me, that fawn really WAS the sweetest one I''d seen! That''s all I saw!
The
books! Oh yeah, I was fortunate in that. It has seven books, just like Harry Potter, and it has a different world, too, like Harry Potter. But what this world and Harry''s world do not have in common is the main character. One of the most different concepts I have
read in books, and believe me, I''m a gigantic bookworm, in easy words, a heavy reader. The first book was pretty childish, but it was good, nevertheless, since it had a uniqueness in it. The books are, in sequence as follows:
1-&
gt; The Magician''s Nephew- where it all began. From a silly mistake by a magician.
2-> The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe- All are characters from the first story. Except the wardrobe. It was mentioned very casually in the last part.
3-> The
Horse and His
Boy-A story about a horse of the world of Narnia, and his "boy", a boy ran away from his father because his father wanted to sell him as a slave. On the way they meet friends, and strive to reach the world of Narnia.
4-> Prince Caspian- I admit it I
haven''t reached it yet.
5-> The Voyage of the Dawn Treader
6-> The Silver Chair
7-> The Last Battle
The reasons why I haven''t read the last four books is very simple: I''m out of cash at the moment. I''m trying to collect enough to get myself a Digicam, but the first three books have me dying to read the rest.
A
fantastic work by a fantastic writer, Clive Staples Lewis. A guaranteed good time!
