THE HUMAN AURA: ASTRAL COLORS AND THOUGHT FORMS

Book Review by: CatherineGallagher

Original Author: Swami Panchadasi
This book elucidates the subject of the human aura in a clear, straightforward and very useful fashion. First, the author
answers the question of what the human aura is, both the egg-shaped set of colors around the human being, readily available to those with the development of some clairvoyant sight; and the prana-aura (a health indicator) available to the attentive ordinary vision. He then discusses the auric colors and their meanings. He goes into these in some detail, although he develops these in greater detail further on, particularly in his discussion of the use of these colors in and for healers. He discusses the auric appearance during sleep. He also discusses the auric appearance of various places, such as churches, prisons and places of vice. He explains the etheric double and its aura. He speaks of the influence of passing thoughts on the appearance of the aura, and contrasts this with the long-term influence of the character on the aura. He discusses thought-forms, what they are, how they are created, their nature, destiny and influence (it makes one more careful about what and how one thinks, certainly). He also discusses the psychic influence of colors, and, most importantly, how to use them for developing oneself and in healing oneself, as well as others (with their permission). One of the more important subjects is the development and use of one''s perception and connection with the Great White Light, visualizing an egg of bright white light all around us (beneath, behind, before, and above, as well). This book is an enormous boon to the beginner in these studies, and contains much of use to the more advanced and intermediate student also.
