Storm Front - Book 1 of the Dresden Files

Book Review by: Linguini

Original Author: Jim Butcher
This abstract was translated from חזית הסערה
Jim Butcher, creator of “Storm Front, Book One of The Dresden Files”, is a wondrous magician himself… With graceful
dexterity Butcher sweeps the reader into a brief chapter in the life of magician turned detective, Harry Dresden. Dresden – known for his low rates in providing his professional services as a magician, who’s expertise is finding lost items and providing guidance and direction services, finds himself going from a slow business routine into the center of fast, strange, twisted and surprising events. The writer seasons the story Film noir style, while unfolding Dresden’s story, a one-of-a-kind detective of the paranormal, and other magical business. When Chicago’s police detective calls Harry to help in solving a tangled crime that has reached a dead-end, Harry assists her. The need to pay his rent leads Harry Dresden into an investigation which entwines and entangles to the summit of the Storm Front. Articulate and gripping, Butcher concocted a superb detective fantasy, which leaves the reader to wonder: When can I read Book 2 of the Dresden Files?
