Swamiji mentions beautifully that parenting is
an art and is lucidly mentioned in terms of small stories how you can empower your child .....
Growth is a simple term mentioned and how do you help your child grow up (not by age).
You also grow when you learn from difficult situations.
Please reflect on this story.......two frogs were on a long journey and were hungry. They saw a huge pot, crept on it and found it full of milk...in their hurry to drink milk they slipped and fell into the pot. One frog gave up and died after a while. The other frog was a fighter and did''nt want to give up hence he continued its effort for survival.No sooner the milk turned into curd and now it was easy for the frog to take a leap and come out...
True growth involves overcoming obstacles and perceiving life as a challenge rather than a problem...What appears impossible to achieve at one point of time is possible if one were to put wise effort.
Parenting is not just teaching but also a process of continous
learning. If a parent is a good learner and they teach out of their learning, their words will have a different power and vitality..There is a saying, " Who you are speaks so loudly that I can''t hear what you are saying". It means your being speaks louder than your words...
This is my first abstract in the series of wise parenting....
