But she refused to the request of her cousin because she was afraid of the King’s rule. Later Queen Esther decided to see the king, together with her maids, Mordecai with his friends, and God’s people through out Persia prayed for three before she came to see the king.
Slowly Queen Esther walked down a long hall to the throne room of the king. The king scowled when he heard someone was coming. Who would dare to come before him uninvited? He ordered to take the person away. The King smiled when he saw that it was lovely Queen Esther who has come to see him and held out the golden scepter. Esther came near and touched the scepter, and then the king asked her request, he even promises to grant up to the half of the kingdom. Queen Esther invited him to come to her house to a special dinner. At the dinner she asked the king to save God’s people. The king made a new law and God’s people were saved. Messengers on mules, camels, horses and some on foot raced through the land in spreading the good news. God’s people shouted for joy.
