The Secret is a book that will surprise you to your wit''s end. The book literally requires you to look at the very basic fact of human nature- attraction. Each one of us, according to the book, is the captain of our own destiny. We are responsible for each and every experience we encounter be it good or bad. One of the most powerful tool of a human person is his brain. The brain has the ability to unleash the genius in you. The book will let you appreciate the beauty of mind power in the sense that it will give you anything you think and ofcourse, desire.
In page 45 of the book, it teaches the reader how to use the Secret (law of attraction). Author James Ray used the example of Alladin and his lamp.
Alladin picks up the lamp, dusts it off, and out pops the Genie. The Genie always says one thing:
" Your wish is my
command!"
The
story goes on that there are three wishes, but if you trace the story back to its origins there''s absolutely no limit whatsoever to the wishes. The story of Alladin demonstrates how your life and everything created in it has been created by YOU. The Genie has simply answered your every command.
In page 60 of the book, it commands the reader to follow the three steps as guidelines for you to create what you want. These steps are as follows:
1. Ask
The first step is to ASK. Make a command to the
universe. Let the universe know what you want. The universe responds to your thoughts.
2.
Believe Believe that it''s already yours. Have what is called unwavering faith. Believe in the unseen.
3. Receive
Begin to
feel wonderful about it. Feel the way you feel once it arrives. Feel it now.
The question of how long does it take to
manifest the illusion of your dream is also tackled in the book. It takes no time for the universe to manifest what you want. Any time delay you experience is due to your delay in getting to the place of believing, knowing, and feeling that you already have it. There is no time for the universe and there is no size for the universe. It is as easy to manifest one dollar as it is to manifest one million dolIt is the same process, and the only reason why one may come faster and the other may take longer is because you thought that a million dollars was a lot of
money and that one dollar was not very much.
To attract money, focus on wealth. It is impossible to bring more money into your life when you focus on the lack of it. It is helpful to use your imagination and make-believe you already have the money you want. Make it your intention to look at everything you like and say to yourself, "I can afford that. I can buy that." You will shift your thinking and begin to feel better about money.
The beauty of this book is the education of loving one''s self...believing that anyone can. Let go of your difficulties from your past and the social beliefs. You are the only one who can create the life that you deserve.
