Character admired
For me, the character that I admired is the protagonist of the story who is Professor Aronnax. He has overcome the obstacles from the decision he made to join the expedition of Abraham Lincoln to his escape from the underwater vessel, Nautilus. Character hated
The character of Captain Nemo showed an antagonist characteristic which made me dislike him. He has showed positive characteristics but I think, the idea of being responsible for the several sea accidents is not good for his goal. His explorations were just for himself shutting down any connection with the world above that made him selfish. He wanted great vengeance for all his loss of his country, mother, father, wife and children.
