To fulfill one''s desitiny is a person''s only obligation. This famous line is from Paulo Coelho''s book "The Alchemist."
This book is about a young boy who dreamed of gold being burried near the pyramids which was of course miles away from his home. The young boy decided to search for the gold amidst losing everything he has. In the search of gold, he met so many people, who taught him a lesson or two and encountered so many misfortunes along the way only to find out in the end that the gold he was searching for was already within reach even before his journey started. The gold was burried in exactly the same place where he had the dream.
The story may be simple and yet it tells us something about ourselves. The search for our so- called "golds" which we think can make us complete, can make us happy. And only to
realize in the end that what we really needed has long been in us.
After reading the book, one will realize that everything is worth trying and dreams are really worth pusuing. Many
lessons will be learned and lessons are everywhere especially if one will keep his/her eyes open on even the simplest of things. What is important is for one to realize that the only way to live a dream to search for it. That every person has his/her destiny and it is only that same person who can shape and fulfill it!
