Introduction“Ahmadiyya”, also known as “Qadianiyya”, and
which today calls itself “the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community”, was founded
in India
in 1889. It claims itself to be not only a Muslim sect but also “the true
representative of Islam”. It also claims that the number of its followers has
now reached over 200
million!! It is persistently publishing its propaganda by various means,
including MTA satellite TV and the Internet, all under the supervision and
direction of its “Khalifah” who since 1985 resides in London. The “Ahmadiyya” is spreading its misleading
claims under the banner of Islam, using pictures of holy Islamic places and
Islamic symbols and prayers as a front to its media and missionary programs.
Beliefs
Claims of
Prophet Hood
Mirza Ghulam Ahmad
the founder of the “Ahmadiyya Muslim Community” said: “God has made me a prophet
and has addressed me under this title very clearly.” (Ruhani Khazain
vol.22 p.154). “I am the Messiah,
I am the “Kalim” (communicator with God) I am Muhammad and Ahmad, the chosen” (Ruhani Khazain, vol.15, p.134). “God also
revealed to me: “Muhammad, the messenger of Allah, and those with him…”” Therefore,
through this revelation, He called me Muhammad and Messenger” (Ruhani Khazain, vol.18, p.207) “God descended
many miracles from Heaven to prove my message, if they were
distributed to 1,000 Prophets their message would have been proven, but the
devils amongst people will not
believe” (Ruhani Khazain, vol.23, p.332)
Belief in the revelations of Mirza
Ghulam
Mirza Ghulam the prophet of Ahmadiyya said
“I swear by Allah that I believe in the revelations descending on me as I believe
in the Holy Qur’an, and the other books of Allah, and I consider my revelations
to be true and decisive, as in the Qur’an” (Ruhani Khazain, vol.22, p.220). He also said “I receive legislative revelations “Wahi
tashreehi”” (Ruhani Khazain,
vol.17, p.435) and he said “The words that were revealed to
me are the absolute truth and I believe in them as I believe in the book of
Allah” (Ruhani Khazain, vol.20,
p.412)
Declaring
all those who don’t believe
in
Mirza as non-Muslims and deserving of hell.
Mirza Ghulam the prophet of the “Ahmadiyya
Muslim Community” said: “Allah has revealed to me that anyone who does not
follow you and does not enter into an allegiance with you is disobedient to Allah and
deserving of hell” (Tadhkira p.342) he said in another place: “god has revealed to me that
anyone who is in receipt of my invitation and has not accepted it is not a Muslim and is deserving
of the punishment of Allah” (Tadhkira p.600). His son, who is entitled “the Promised reformer”,
also says: “all those Muslims who do not enter into and allegiance with the
promised Messiah (Mirza Ghulam), whether they have heard his name or not are infidels, outside the circle
of Islam” (Ayena-Sadaqat,
page 35)
Summary of the Ahmadiyya faith
and Beleifs
Mirza Ghulam (founder and prophet of the
Ahmadiyya Muslim community) said: “My faith and my belief, that I frequently
repeat, is that Islam has two parts: part 1 is to obey Allah, and part 2 is to
obey the British government, that has given us peace and gathered us under its
shadow, to protect us from the unjust people.” (Ruhani Khazain, vol.6, p.380)
Aims
“Ahmadies”
profess to love Islam and to defend it, and would proudly read the writing of
Mirza Ghulam in praise of Islam and the prophet (PBUH) it
is noteworthy that all the members of this cult are descendants of former
Muslims, except for very few, who were followers of the religions. The first
and last aim of Ahmadiyya is to call Muslims and others to believe in the prophet
hood of Mirza Ghulam of India, and that he is the promised Messiah and Mahdi (both of which have been mentioned in some
reports as appearing in the “latter days”). Ahmadiyya’s aims remain to call, especially Muslims, to
believe in a new prophet, a new revelation, and a new message, which clearly
serves the interests of those who do not believe that Islam is the complete
religion and Muhammad is the final prophet and the Qur’an is the final revelation
to mankind.
