THINK WITHOUT BLINK
FLY UP WITHOUT SINK

O no, it’s a daunting night, light is gone out as before
Path is endless, bristling with fences and baffling blow
But “will” wiry and steely; body sans gash and sore
Night with insidious dark impedes my pace slow

Tongue with unuttered word, heart with unfelt, passion
Mind with new vision, to transcend all banausic reason
Out of steam, denuded of tenacious-bent of motion
But unbowed to all, for the fickle nature of the season

Feet fettered with the shackles of birth-bound obligation,
Refuses to move, cross the morass of reasons or delusion
In the darkest night, dashed all hope, but no frustration
As night, harbinger of the day and abolisher of illusion

Pushed my feet ahead; it jumped back wounded, scare
This callous world appeared conquered over my cause
All doors seemed locked, for land’s rusty upper layer
But fecundity deep within, gave me a roborant pause

My phoenix-like hope born again with all birr and vigor
With Panglossian mind-set brought the inside out
For all rejection and dejection, me, the invincible figure
Life in itself a great mentor, if you, a learner devout

Rough sea, no star to usher the alien and frightful way
No ship to embark on, yet there’s an aurea mediocritas
Swim against the tide, fight fire with fire and slay
All blows “self” is invincible sans aid and slash
