I''ve heard so much about this book, and at first I was hesitant about reading it because it did not seem appealing at all.
I was watching Oprah, and she had hosted James Frey as a guest. It turned out that most of the stuff he wrote in the book were not real! I was very furious when I found out that the book was a fraud, but because I was so curious, I went out and bought the book.It took me quite a while to finish reading it - mainly due to the fact that I read other books at the same time - but also because the chapters are extremely long... Sometimes, a period of two months would have passed and I wouldn''t have read a single thing, but I''d still remember every small detail. A Million Little Pieces is one of the most exhilirating books I have ever read; you get so caught up in the story, you don''t care if the book is true or fiction. I encourage all literary peolple who enjoy unique styles of writing to read this book.
