Transfer of Power brings it to the forefront, the White House was
attacked, the President was barely able to escape with few of his other staff members and his security team. This was achieved by a frantic call made by Mitch after he did a covert operation and kidnapped one of the major planner in the attack on the White House, a little convincing (the way Mitch knows best) and the terriorist started talking.
Returning to the US, the leaders were in a panic. The Vice President has no clue what to do and the Attorney General (a woman) take it upon herself to negotiate with the terriorist (against Mitch's advice) this is an insult to the terriorist who believe woman should not address him, took two persons outside in view of the cameras and killed them sending the Attorney General in a coma, she had to be admitted.
Mitch getting the go ahead from Dr. Kennedy(his boss) went ahead and planned a counter attacked by going through an unknown pipeline which takes him into the cellar and went on a war part.
Doing what Mitch does best he killed, saved and rescue the President and all the hostages before the several bombs planted throughout the White House went off.
The terriorist leader thought he had gotten away and went into hidding (in his turf) but with time and Mitch's patience he was visited and he learned the hard way, Mitch Rapp hate terriorist especially those who attacked his country.
