The role of the
press is or should be to diffuse, to get both local and international news. These news should be real, exact,
objective, complete...incomplete news is no news and one must let the
reader be subjective. Written or oral news should not influence us. Most people believe blindly whatever they read either because it is well reported or because the news is well illustrated. However this is not always true. Some
newspapers have a money
making objective rather than an informative objective. In order to sell their publications, editors do not think twice before making up
stories, lies and falsifying or manipulating pictures, even to the point of creating some! There are even other newspapers who should be congratulated for their stimulating stories which have nothing to do with the reality and which are just inserted in their newspapers to entertain the reader or terrify them...we must react to those articles which we read daily, we must be logical and avoid believing everything that is being published for us.
