Every time a cat jumps in the house he causes
trouble: trash on the floor, closets up-ended, rugs scattered, and paint spattered.
Kids will enjoy seeing just how bad the chaos can get and will likely identify with the poor cat who gets into
trouble so quickly that he barely has time to recover from one accident before he''s in another one. The book offers excitement (such glorious
messes!) and some tension since sooner or later the cat will, of course, get caught.
The author''s action-packed prose is a great fit for the illustrator''s busy, sketch-like watercolors. As the words skip down across the page, so do the pictures of cascading messes.
