THE POWER OF CONCENTRATION
THE POWER OF CONCENTRATION
Science is the outcome of the power of mind in man but the science unfortunately does not recognise the miraculous power of the mind. It is so because the science has been fenced by the principles of cause and effect, and purely materialistic.
Mind or brain, as medical science literally means, is a material and can be seen. The mind produces thoughts which are unseen but only perceivable by the process of hearing, reading, and watching. Though the thoughts cannot be touched or seen, but still keep their existence constantly and do the wonders in the seen as well as unseen universe. Thoughts are even though within the body, still the body has no control over them, but the thoughts do control the body and commands it to act. Thus thoughts are more powerful than the body. Thoughts can only be controlled by thoughts only. They may be either of ourselves or of others.
By the process of concentration, the thoughts can be controlled. Man has the power of concentration which he uses in the routine life every minute, all the time during his every action. The difference between man and man is that of concentration only. Also the difference is in the degree of concentration he uses in his every action. That makes a man perfect or imperfect. We choose to concentrate on the things which we love and we love those things on which we concentrate. Everyone loves the beauty of rose, and when we start concentrating on it, it looks more and more beautiful. The great difficulty with such concentration is that we do not control the mind, but the mind controls us. We cannot take away ourselves from the rose. The concentration on the thoughts themselves would certainly put a check on the further producion of irrevelant thoughts and reduce the multiplicity of thoughts. By and by their further production is checked, their huge gathering is reduced and would come ultimately to the finest (smallest) size. This may be brought to the size of atom, through concentration, which is the real power of thought. A vacant mind is more powerful than the mind which is full of thoughts. During the past thousands of years, the saints, philosophers, meditators, spiritualists or yogis, the Masters of Indiastudied, investigated, and acquired this phenomena and made a science of it, with a system; and under the laws just the same, as that of any other physical phenomena. There is nothing supernatural init. Thousands of people in India and around the globe, who cultivated the study of this science, made it a part of their daily worship. They realisedthat the mind of man with all its powers, is a part of Universal Mind.
The process of concentration would take you to the deepest depth of your mind, the atom of your mind, your real power, which can do wonders. During the process of concentration, the mindacts upon the body, and body startsreacting to mind, and thus the duality of both is dissolved and both become one. Only a controlled mind can have the power of concentration. This makes the man stronger to fight out the problems of daily life with his strong will and determination. It is ssaid that '' the one who controlls his mind can conquer the world''. The concentrati9n creates a personl magnetismin and around us. This personal magnetismis the real man within us, the dynamo of power, and our real personality.
Through concentration the science of hypnotism isdeveloped which now a days helps in treating the patients of mental disorder. Concentration is the path which leads to successes in life, though controlling the mind is a difficult taks but not impossible. it discplines the mind. People in all walks of life neecontrol their minds, if they are to succeed in their vocation.
