The purpose of this book is to give a family
member, who is involved with an
alcoholic, hope and wisdom to understand what an alcoholic is expericing in their
everyday of their life. It paints a clearer picture of what you are dealing with when you encounter a family member who has a drinking problem.
In my case an alcoholic spouse. This book offers daily reminders to help you overcome the fears of facing everyday with someone who is drinking their life away and hurting their loved ones not in a physical way but in a mental way. It eases the guilt you carry with you everyday you wake up and wishing they would stop drinking.
The book offers comfort through it's short passages, each day has a
page dedicated to it when you pick up the book and turn to the page of the day, after you read it, then it lightens the heavy feeling you had, it is gone. The book gives you hope. Bible verses are included throughout the book. Of course the book is directed from the Al-
Anon meetings and the people there who have stories to share.
This book is genuine and comforting I rate it up there with the Bible. You can purchase the book at any meeting, to find those get online and go to www.
