The Glamour of the
CORPORATE Those are plush carpeted places enclosing with the walls a feel of warmth. They seem made
to house the inhabitants in a preferred seclusion, keeping the voices and the humdrum within the confines of the walls and even to narrower places. It seem ''grown'' from the place itself...what gives birth or the culture is just the people, the furnitures, the upholstery, the equipments... the work etc.
But each place seems to have a peculiar and different ''feel'' from the rest and each makes it more or less
attractive than the other. This is called the charm of the place. It is what that adds to the lure of belonging to the place ,to savour it in full vibrations not just in static but in full rhythm of productive work. Productivity gives a sense of having contributed and rightful share of the happiness. It gives an identity to one''s own existence justifiably.
But to a stranger, the feel is awesome in the exteriors of high walls and glass doors as with the interiors made up of soft carpeting and upholstery, low ceiling, art decor, dimmed lights and attractive people....all add to the sense of wonder... and an urge to be a part of the
Corporate.... This gets imprinted in the minds and on the images of what is known as the Corporate.
It could be an artist''s impression , an image in water colors or in lines of a sketch or even those conveying the message implicitly... but all converge to the same jist. More common are the bright colored pictures printed on shiny pages with a self identifiable print in the corporate journals.
These are the images that also convey the mammoth as also the scatter of colonies of otherwise alien world seen only in sci-fi movies .
This is the beckoning of the office and the charmed power of the CORPORATE.
