This past few weeks, prices of merchandises kept on soaring. Gasoline
stations increased their prices per liter. Public markets follow suit. Few commodities remained the same. People kept on complaining because of what happened. The
government said that they have nothing to do because the prices in the world market also increased. The people complain the government inability to control the prices of some basic commodities; the must help some people to find work. Still, the government remained as if they don’t understand the people’s plight. Merchandise kept on rising until people are seemingly hopeless. Poor Juan dela Cruz doesn’t have anything to do, but starve. The government thought of something that they would like to test. Why not if they will just use sealed plastics and plastic containers instead of tin cans, even just in the meantime, while the prices in the world market are still increasing. The Filipinos don’t want this to happen. The government just folds It’s arms, doing nothing whatsoever. Should we just stand and wait? Our population increased to about 84 – 86 million already. The reason why the government really has difficulty to manage and budget funds. They are encouraging the people,
especially the parents of each family. Every year the government is having headache , because the population is increasing and our country is becoming poorer as days flip by. Parents should advise their children not to have relationhip early to avoid financial and/or family problems. At this time, our government is still thinking of something to help our country stop or minimize poverty. The people must cooperate so there will be no problems. This past few days, the prices of some merchandise are rolling back and it’s agreat relief for citizens. Some are still sky high, especially oil. As of now, this would be a reminder to all that we must be more industrious than ever if we want to survive this so-called crisis. We must help each other and cooperate.
