Happy Slapped By A Jellyfish

Book Review by: Rich2809

Original Author: Karl Pilkington
Well I have managed to finish this book. The Interestingly titled ‘Happy Slapped By A Jellyfish’ is a travel guide written
by a Mr. Karl Pilkington.
Almost uniquely, for a travel guide it would seem that Mr Pilkington would rather that we all stayed at home and never went anywhere.
Karl does not like travel, does not like food outside of his very narrow window of taste it would not be wrong to state that Mr. Pilkington’s bemused suspicion of anything vaguely exotic will indeed help with global warming as he really does prefer us all to stay at home.
Mr Pilkington is annoyed that Cow fish do not look like cows, that his hotel was near Mount Vesuvius (this entails Mr P. keeping a close eye on the volcano in case of eruption) and pretty much everything involved with or about travel.
Still it is funny and I did roll about laughing at his gentle reflections on life in Britain. I also like the simple chid like poems scattered around the chapters,
Jellyfish By Karl Pilkington’
I don’t like jellyfish, they’re not a fish, there’re just a blob.
They don’t have eyes, fins, or scales like a cod.
They float about blind, stinging people in the seas.
And no one eats jellyfish with chips and mushy peas
Get rid of ‘em
Enjoy this book for what it is.
