the story of Alice , a 30 something
mother of little seven year old Molly
and wife to long-suffering husband David. Alice is desperate to keep up with Jones''''s and will
stop at almost nothing to ensure the very best for her daughter including taking extraordinary steps to get her into a very exclusive public school. Alice mirrors every middle class
pushy mother you know, his attention to detail is matched only by his humour, this is very, very
funny and have you glued from beginning to end. It''''ll make you wince reading the lengths
Alice goes to in order to save face. A thoroughly enjoyable read, I''''ll be looking into
O''''Farrell''''s back catalogue.
