Vanishing Acts is the
story of Delia Hopkins who lives with her father and daughter and is planning her wedding, to Andrew, one of her childhood friends. She constantly has
flashbacksof a life she cannot recall. One day the police call on her and her world is shattered.
I like the way the book is
written in that each chapter is titled as one of the characters and
then is written in the first
person, by that
character. It makes it very easy to follow and you
have each character''''s perspective of what is happening in the story. The story is really
interesting and very topical. I am certainly looking forward to reading more of Picoult''''s work.
