As someone still active in the field of
English Language and Literature I got a blog this morning from AP on the much talked
about Spice GIrls ... previously it was
Victoria Beckham who made headlines as a Football/Wife .... she is married to David Beckham UK Footballer and popular hero and icon.
The reason I write in relation to this is that popular culture demands a place in
English Language specialism with Literature though must admit I tend to be something of the "High Brow". However, in the interests of popular culture the Spice Girls have
cancelled some of their world tour due to family and other responsibilities. They kicked off in
Canada Vancouver and have cancelled ... Sydney, Beijing, Cape Town, Buenos Aires ..
they came out of /family and personal situ/to do this so I suppose family life and personal
commitments are what are more important to the Spice Girls.. we all need to prioritize our goals and objectives ........ excellent material courtesy of AP/Yahoo.com
