High School Musical is a story of running after one’s aspiration even when others refuse to acknowledge it. The story
is about two people so different from each other, but was drawn together for their newly discovered passion for music. Troy Bolton (a high school basketball star) and Gabriella Montez met during the New Year’s Eve Party where they were chosen as participants in
singing a duet. The two of them were not really interested but as they started singing the song together, sparks were formed between them. After the Christmas vacation, Troy and Gabriella unexpectedly became classmates when Gabriella transferred to her new school. Upon learning of an audition for a school musical, they unwittingly found themselves into the callback, which stirred the whole school body. Their friends tried to stop them because singing is not
supposed to be field. Ryan and Sharpay Evans further hinder their efforts towards the auditions due to the known fact that the theater is supposed to be the siblings’ territory. After so much obstacle, the two ended up being the musical’s leads as their chemistry went into full bloom.
