Write your abstract here. The first time I got a glimpse of the
book entitled ''''
Things Fall
Apart'''' by an African author, I was very keen to find out what were the things that fell apart. Opening the pages of the book and following the story closely, I came to understand the sentiments behind an African
tribe''''s collapse of deep rooted tradition, culture,
religious values, social structure and lifestyle. With the advent of a new religious
order came the violence and
death due to intense opposition from various quarters, especially from those that still favoured and upheld the age old established order handed down by the ancestors. The result being the hanging death of a great village chieftain and warrior, who had commanded power and recognition within the tribe.
