One large
mansion in a gloomy place, a plateau and a
dark
forest with its howling wind, one night Teresa came out of to play outside the
mansion gate. With her playful self she arrived at the mansion graveyard. There
lays a Shadow, seeking help for his purpose was the girl’s
brother.
“Good evening Mr. Shadow” said Teresa, “What are you
doing in a place like this may I ask?” continued Teresa. No idea of what the Shadow
is up to. “Well,
kind girl, I am searching for a boy in the age of 3. The town’s
folks said he is living in this mansion.” Shadow talked while the pale moon is
glowing. “Yes there is, he is my younger brother. What do you want from him,
may I ask?” Teresa curiously
asked.
The Shadow, silent, thinking of what he will answer, “His
Heart young girl” he spout “I want your brother’s Heart”. Teresa, surprised,
asked “But why do you want his heart?” then the Shadow told the girl why he
want it. “I was told of a man who will become like no other. All I want since
then was your brothers Heart.
Then the girl walk back to her mansion and completed the
job the Shadow asked. The Shadow bowed in gratitude completing her task. “Would
you like anything in return might I
ask?” Teresa stood up and thinking of what
might she want. “Please kind Shadow I hope you won’t find me wrong… I would
like to play and laugh all night long, but no matter what I need or want, I would
find a friend the most relevant.” The Shadow, surprised, said “I am sorry dear
little girl, but friends I cannot give. It is sadly beyond my power.”
Teresa angered by the Shadows’ words “Then I would like
my brother’s Heart back kind Shadow for our little deal turned awfully sour.
What good are you if you can’t make up the deal, please return my brother’s
Heart.”
“Neither your brother I can give. What you gave is given.
I strive for a way to make even. The deal is a deal. I will do anything but
friends I cannot give.” said the Shadow. “Seeing my offer is merely out of kindness.”
Teresa thinks. “What will I ask? Hmm...” Teresa found a
way for the Shadow to make even. “I want you mauled and buried by the darkest
and most blighted forest.”
“Fair enough little girl, I will grant your wish just to
make even. Travel the road of which I pointed and be forever gone, I am sure
one day you will have me undone.”
Teresa bowed as for the honor of parting. “Thank you
kindly, Mr. Shadow of whom I don’t know.”
