Once upon a time,there lived a
donkey known as Hensey.Hensey is a very dogged and obedient
animal. He follows his master''s order diligently and his master really love him to a fault. His master''s name is George and years ago when on a trip,he saw little Hensey all abandoned in a ditch and took him up as one of his own.
One day,Hensey was taking a stride round the compound and suddenly stopped infront of a well.Wondering what could be in the well ,he peered into the well and thought he saw an image of his kind.Thinking it was a female
donkey,Hensey jumped into tho well.Hensey realised the danger his stupid act has gotten him into and started crying for help.Meanwhile,George just woke up from a catnap and remembered that he has a feast to attend at the next village and will need the loyal service of his donkey."Where could he be by the way?"He muttered to himself. He walked over to Hensey''s barn and lo and behold, his dear donkey is nowhere to be found. He became alarmed and hysterical/He searched every nook and cranny of the compound but couldn''t found but it was when he was almost to the gate that he heard the cry.George ran to the well and his worse fear was confirmed. His donkey was there. He called his neighbours to help him out .They tried but all to no avail as the well was deep and no rope to haul Hensey out.George wept and decided to bury the donkey.Sorrowfully,he called out to Hensey:"Hensey, you are the best friend i ever had and will always miss you,Adieu!!Mon ami."And he poured the first heap of sand on him and poured more. Will Hensey want to give up easily? No!!He would fight and just then an idea struck him .As the heap of sand falls on him,Hensey will shake it off and step on the disparged sand and the next heap on his back,He will shake it off and step on it.George and his neighbours saw what he was playing at and were glad.Hensey did this until he was finally out of the well and both donkey and owner lived happily ever after.
So friends the morale of the story is this:Never give up or want to throw in the towel in the face of any adversity or trouble.Just shake off the problem and step on it to a more higher
ground,a higher ground of success.
