One of the most important reasons for learning this technique is that it ends up being highly motivational-you end up being a better self-motivator. And every time you turn your Self-Talk around, you get better at it. Another advantage to this technique is that you get instant results. You get positive attention from other people. You feel better every time you make a new Self-Talk statement clearly and with conviction. That''s because when you create positive enthusiasm by the way you speak to yourself and to others, you also change the chemicals in your brain that make you feel better. And that''s not only good for your state of mind-it''s also good for your success rate.
Turn your old Self-Talk around. Change it. Reword it, transform it, and watch the pictures it begins to creat~ven thinking about it being true in your life. Using this Self-Talk editing technique seldom takes longer than a few seconds.
