Againts
Crisis/ Khoo Kheng-Hor and Sunny T.H. Goh
This book gives the
solutions against crisis using the ways created by
Chinese
generals during the three
kingdoms era in China. In 168-189
century,
the emperor of Han dynasty began to separate because of catastrophe and
corruption. Because of those, some fighters decided to make a rebellion in 184
century. But, it failed and all the members of that rebellion group were
murdered by government. At that time, the country really needed a brave and
good leader.
Then the
General Dong Zhuo used this moment to do the coup d’etat
in 192 century. Four years later, he was assassinated by another general, Cao
Cao, that ruled the nation by using power to protect the young emperor. After
that, his son ruled the kingdom and replaced the previous emperor. He named
that kingdom as Wei Kingdom in 220 century. This would be one of the three
kingdoms in China.
On the other hand, there are some generals that rejected to follow his
instructions, such as the General Liu Bei and Sun Quan. Then, they built their
own kingdoms as the rivals of the Wei Kingdom. Liu Bei declared himself as the Emperor Zhao
Lie
Di from Shu Kingdom in 221 century, and Sun Quan became the Emperor Da Di
from Wu Kingdom in 229 century.
In 253 century, Sima Zhao conquered the Shu Kingdom. Three years later,
Sima Yan won over Wei Kingdom and established the Jin Dynasty. In 260 century, the Emperor Wu Di united all
kingdoms in China.
