My childhood dreams had all come true, the day i began my long journey to visit the White Rose-The Taj Mahal. About the Monument: The Taj Mahal in Agra is one of the golden monuments of India’s fame and glory. Its charm and beauty will never ever fade. Life has its ending, but the glory and fame of the Taj Mahal has no ending. There is no end to its fame and beauty. It stands on the banks of the river Yamuna and is surrounded with lush and flowering trees all around its garden. The Mughal emperor Shah Jahan built this white rose in loving memory of his beloved and beautiful wife Mumtaz Mahal. Its velvet lawns and gardens Symmetrical gardens and water filled ponds glitter and reflect in the sunlight. Trees with ferns that stand on either sides of the ponds. Its red sand stone covered paths ways mark the path from the entrance of its gates right up to its elevated platforms. Its gardens are covered with velvet grass and trees that flower all through the year. Red sand stone walls guards the white rose from the outside busy world. Its large courtyards outside, is surrounded by the walls that protect the monument from the hustle and bustle of a busy market place. The banks of the Yamuna. The Taj Mahal stands on the curved banks of the river Yamuna which flows all through the year. It is one of the many and famous tourist attractions. The sun sets below its horizons and its rays fall on the river, giving the Taj Mahal a beautiful radiance and glow. The marble reflects the colours of the sun rays. Making it look like a jewel in the crown.And in the silence of the night one can hear the flowing of the river Yamuna.
