This abstract is related to a book, 7 principles, 7 stories, one destiny , that awarded me a second place in a national concurse of tales books. I am translating it by myself. I am going to expose here the introduction of the book . This is about the hermetic principles, about common life, about transcendental life, about the master of the Law of Atracction.
A friend of mine, writer, always indicates that reality surpasses to fiction. Nothing else is as certain in what is locked up by this statement... specially in a country, Venezuela, where the most improbable and incredible facts happen very often. The stories of the book combine seven principles from the Kybalion, the hermetic document written by Hermes Trimesgisto millennia ago. These are histories that happened or can happen in the daily life of a common citicen. These principles can be identified, at first glance, in some stories; whereas others must be read with greater attention. The opening to knowledge arrive, sometimes, through a person, from an animal, from a newspaper article, or even from beings of another dimension. "When the student is ready, appears the teacher", say the advanced ones. Nevertheless, although the laws are enumerated individually, all of them act altogether. These principles are the following : 1) Principle of the mentalism: All is mind 2) Principle of correspondence. As above is below
3) Principle of polarity. Everything has two poles
4) Principle of the ritmth or the pendulum
5) Principle of vibration. Everything vibrates at a certain frequency
6) Principle of Cause and Effect.
7)Principle of Generation.
Many of these histories could be fantastic, as they move between the appearance of a world perceived by traditional physical senses, and the other reality perceived by intuition and imagination.. Sometimes literary creation gives life to new beings. Sometimes, our mind does not know how to discern if an event is real or if it is imaginary. Perhaps, it is possible that the collective conscience creates new forms of energy which previously did not exist. Someone could say: this is just fiction. But ... how many of you haven´t had any experience related to some phenomenon that have not a rational explanation?... And you let it pass because you thought that similar facts do not happen to the others. Sometimes, I ask myself if it is not more fictious the story of a person who dies drowned within his vehicle, because of an intense rain, in the middle of freeway of the capital of a country, as it happened in the freeway Francisco Fajardo of Caracas. Or... would not be more mysterious to write a history about the crash of a small airplane, that came in opposition to the traffic signs, against two cars in a freeway that leads to the main airport of the country? Or to write another one about a colonel who fell in a hollow of more than thirty meters of depth in the regional freeway of the center? Yes Sir! Reality surpasses fiction. Day always follows night; when somebody jumps from a building, falls; fire always burns. These are daily observations that reveal certain repetitions or regularities of the world. The laws of science are only enunciated that express regularities in the most precise way. Rudolf Carnap in his Fundamentación of Physical Logic says: If certain regularity, in all time and all place, without exception, is observed, then this regularity is expressed in form of a universal law.
Somebody could question if the mentioned principles are laws. They argue if these principles are always fulfilled orno, like for example the law of cause and effect: When repairing in the case of an assassin who kills several innocents immediately and it forces suicide on, or when observing how another one makes a country bleed by robbing and sacking it… and they have a better and calmer life than the affected ones, and they go for a trip. Where is the principle? Why it doesn´t work? Yes, they work; but in order to demonstrate it would be necessary to introduce the concept of Time and to raise statements on the continuity of the afterlife. We already know by quantum physics that time is not a straight line, that eleven dimensions exist in the universe, that the observer affects the measured phenomenon and that light behaves differently when it is observed than when it is not. These stories do not pretend demonstrate that the principles are laws because there would be a need to write an essay titled, for example, Fundaments of Metaphysical logic. The objective of this book is simply a literary presentation of stories including the hermetic principles.
