Abstract: An excellent book providing comprehensive analysis of the role of corporate world in safeguarding our environment – the mother earth. The book gives a detailed, critical examination of all the key tools of corporate environmental management, including environmental management systems and standards; environmental policies, guidelines and charters; environmental auditing; life-cycle assessment; the measurement of environmental performance; and environmental reporting. The author has emphasized on systems-based environmental management, which can protect our planet and provide better quality of live to our future generations. The author has highlighted how such an approach might be integrated within corporate daily life. It offers pathway for ensuring continuous environmental improvement, building a corporate environmental profile and moving towards sustainability. The top management should get committed to crating eco friendly environment in the industrial units or corporate offices. Irrespective of our age, gender, economic status or official position we should do every thing by adopting eco friendly process.
