This
book is the first one in the trilogy
known as the GameWorld trilogy.
It revolves around the return of a deadly
rakshas (demon), Dahn-Gem. He was a terrible lord and killed many and wiped out dozens of empires but was finally killed by a
set of noble warriors known as ravians. A wise chameleon informs a leader of a city known as Kol on his return. The lady, Lady Temat, searches for a
hero on the advice of the chameleon. Apparently only this hero could defeat the rakshas.
When the hero, Asvin of Avranti is found, he is trained by a vaman, Gaam and a brilliant young spellbinder, Maya.
Meanwhile, Maya has a friend by the name of Kirin who realises that his parents are ravians. He and his friend Spikes join Asvin, Maya and a few others who set out to find Maya''s father, Mantric.
Kirin finds a book which guides him to enemies. The book informs him that he must help them by finding various objects. These
objects could revive Dahn-Gem and then Kirin must kill him.
The objects are found in an amazing set of adventures.
Dahn-Gem returns but not in the way everyone imagined.Kirin learns about his real past in a meeting with the rakshas. The end is shocking with Kirin realising his true destiny.
An
AMAZING read. From the start to the finish, it entertains you and leaves you breathless. I think it''s the best book i''ve
read and feel that the book should be popularised to a larger extent. The first sci-fi book by an Indian author.
Please purchase it and read it. You won''t find peace till you finish it.
The starting of the book is slightly flat but don''t lose interest and continue reading the book. You''re patience will be ultimately rewarded.
The sequels have already released and are
The Manticore''s Secret and The Unwaba Revelations.
