This is a book for people who were born during the 80’s in the Philippines. Those ho were supposed to be "in the know" of what happened but were still to young to fully understand.

It is a story of the Marcos regime. The book does not directly state the names of course but only a fool wouldn’t know. I had always been interested in our history but reading this book right now seemed right. I don’t know, coincidence maybe. Our country is yet again facing a crisis. Corruption. Greed. Different circumstances but same issues. It’s like what the Character Luis Bayani in the book said. " But in reality life isn’t linear. Look at our history. It’s filled with cycles" I just hope that we don’t end up in civil war or a bloodbath. Right noe our people are a bit hesitant to act. Most of us try to go ith the flow. we imbibe the pain. " Pagtiisan kung anong meron" (take whatever is there). until it’s too late and we can’t stop the anger and frustratiopn bottled up. Then bloodbath…

I hope we all learn from the past. If not for our sake, then for our children’s
