This tenth book can be considered as a ‘break’ from the whole vampire – vampaneze war. Instead, it focused on searching
the identity of Harkat Mulds in the past life. After losing a person that already became his parent, mentor and best friend, Darren went to Cirque Du Freak with a broken heart. Here surrounded by his old friends, he learned how to ‘live’ again. But, as usual, that temporary happiness had to be interrupted by a little old Desmond Tiny, who came and gave an offering to Harkat Mulds to find his true identity. Being thrown in the middle of nowhere without enough preparation, Darren and Harkat had to survived the game created by Mr Tiny (It’s kinda remind me of RPG style ).
