I think everybody has heard about this book written by Charles Dickens.Those who have not heard ,well I can't help it, this
is arguably one of Dickens best works ever. The two lead characters have been clearly defined with all their flaws which makes the book even more interesting to read.I find Estella(the lead female character)to be really enchanting with all her arrogance.The hero Pip is somewhat subdued in the whole story but you will find that you can relate with him(definitely I can).The book is long but I feel it is definitely worth reading it.The story revolves around Pip and his love for the beautiful Estella who completely ignores him.It is not a rags to riches story.It is about the expectations of an individual that deals with his success and failure.It is love story which does not even contain a kiss,but still you feel it is one of the most heart wrenching love story of all time.The book is realistic , it does not have any melodramatic scene and the story does not resemble that of DAVID COPPERFIELD as mentioned in many reviews.Written in fine words it is truly a masterpiece.It is my favourite book of all times and I believe once you read it you will feel the same way.
A love story which will definitely touch your heart.If you have not read it please read it ,if you have read it another reading won't hurt you.
