 Pushkin created the novel during the 8 years (from 1823 to
1831). If the first chapters of the novel were written by young poet, almost by
boy, the concluding chapter already was written by  man with considerable life
experiences. This is reflected in the older poet's novel. The main character --
Eugene Onegin - as well as himself  poet  matures , grows wiser ,acquires 
life experience, losing friends, mistaking, suffering. How do
shows the stages of hero's life  in the work? The name novel by Pushkin
stresses the central position among the other heroes of
the work. Onegin -  secular young man, Metropolitan aristocrat,
been typical for that time under the direction of Frenchman-tutor's education in the spirit of literature, detached from national and
People's soil. He leads the way of life golden youth: balls, walks
on Nevsky Prospect, visiting theatres. Though Onegin not studied good
something , he still has  high level of culture, and
in this respect differs from most noble society.
Pushkin's hero - the creation of this society, but he is alien
him. Nobility of soul, quenching mind allocate him from  
aristocratic youth environment, gradually leading to frustration in life
and the interests to secular society, to political discontent and
social situation. Life's emptiness  torments Onegin, he senses
boredom, and  withdraws from secular society, trying to go to
socially useful activity. Lordly education, lack of
habits to work played his role, and
Onegin not reduces  up to  the end none of his undertakings. He lives without purpose, without works. In the village Onegin behaves humanely in relation to peasants, but it is not intended over their destiny, it  torments
his own mood, and he   senses an emptiness of life. Breaking with the secular
society and being separated from the people's life , he loses communication with people.
He rejects the love of Tatyana Larina, gifted, morally clean
girls, failing to discover the depth of her queries, her unique nature.
Onegin kills his friend Lensky because of birth
prejudices. In the depressed
 status of the spirit Onegin leaves the village and goes on travels on Russia.
These travels gives him the opportunity to look at life more fully,
revises his attitude towards  reality, to understand how
vainly he wasted his life. Onegin returns to capital and
meets the same picture of the  secular society's life . Onegin's
love for Tatiana, now  married woman, flares up. But Tatiana unravel
self-love and egoism underlying Onegin's sense to her, and rejects his love. By Onegin's love to Tatiana Pushkin stressed that his hero is
able to moral rebirth, that this is not the whole grown cold
man, into his soul boilings life, that, as thinks  the poet, should have been
awaken Onegin's desire for public activities too. The image of
Eugene Onegin opens up  whole gallery of  redundant person. Following the
Onegin were created images of Pechorin, Oblomov, Rudin, Laevsky. All
These images are  reflection of Russian artistic validity.
