Winnie the Pooh, Say Ahhhhh!
Christopher Robin said, it’s time for my animal checkout, said Pooh. He’s bringing his doctor’s kit to Owl’s house now. Doctor’s kit,” cried Piglet. Are you sick, Pooh? “Sick?” asked Pooh. No, I’m fine but however I must say I am feeling a bit rumbly in, y tumbly. Piglet said, your tummy, it must be sick. “Is it?” asked Pooh. Your tummy is jiggled and jumped, said Piglet. They both went to Owl’s house as it’s so much friendly with two, obviously! So, Pooh and Piglet climbed the ladder up to Owl’s house.
“Step right in, pooh bear!” exclaimed Tigger, who had set up a desk near Owl’s front door. “It’ll be your turn to see Owl just as soon as Roo comes out. Christopher Robin, “why do I need an animal checkout?” asked Pooh. “Silly old bear, said Christopher Robin. Not an animal checkout but an annual checkup. We need to make sure you are healthy ans strong. And this time Owl will give you a special injection to help keep you well. Hearing about injection, Pooh got afraid. Christopher Robin explained to him that it will only hurt for a few seconds and the medicine in the injection will keep you from getting mumps and measles ans thing like that. Just then Roo came bouncing out of Owl’s room. “I just had my checkup and it was easy!” he exclaimed. I’ll have a blue one, Tigger, please. Tigger blew a blue balloon for Roo. Rabbit called in Pooh as he was being the nurse. “Good luck”, called Piglet. Pooh walked into Owl’s room with Christopher Robin right beside him.
Once inside, they were greeted by Rabbit. “Sit on the table, my fine young bear,” said Rabbit. Then, he wrapped a wide band around Pooh’s arm, pumped air into the band and it got tighter and tighter. “The gauge tells me your blood pressure is just right,” said Rabbit. Next step, Pooh was told to stand on a scale in order to weight and measure him. “Aha! The perfect height for a Pooh bear of your age, but a bit stout,” said Rabbit. He was advised to do little exercise and he replied, “I do my stoutness exercises every morning,” said Pooh. Few minutes later, Owl entered the room and asked Pooh, how is he feeling? “A bit flippy-floppy in my tummy, actually,” said Pooh. Owl felt Pooh’s tummy, around his neck and under his arms. Everything seems to be right where it should be. “Oh…good,” said Pooh, giggling.
After a complete checkup of Pooh entire body part, he sat on Christopher Robin’s lap as it was time for his injection. Even Piglet came in and sat next to his friend. “I know it will only hurt for a moment and it will keep me away from getting bumps and weasels,” Pooh said bravely. When Owl was done, Rabbit popped in back in with a plaster. “An annual checkup is no problem for a brave bear like Pooh,” said Christopher Robin. I’m just that sort of bear, thought Pooh with a smile. “Pooh,” said Owl, “you are in tip-top shape, but that stomach of yours is a little rumbly. I prescribed a large pot of honey the moment you get home. I would like it soon, and then said Pooh, whose tummy was feeling much, much better. Tigger gave Pooh a blue balloon. Piglet holding the balloon, both of them walked home together for lunch.
